When 11-year-old Georgia Blake came to the stage to sing “House of the Rising Sun,” Judes were doubtful, but then this happened…

The Voice is regarded as uncovering some exceptional talent globally. The Voice Younger version allows younger singers the opportunity to perform and has gained major popularity among families and youngsters.

Eleven-year-old Georgia Blake recently went on Germany’s version of the show for the blind auditions. Georgia’s gravel-rich acapella voice yells out, “There is a house in New Orleans…” After a bluesy growl and the opening line, she earns two chair spins from the judges.

A flicker of a little smile develops at the side of Georgia’s mouth, but she continues to sing the song “House of the Rising Sun,” and the remaining two judges turn their chairs well before she finishes.

Georgia’s voice has the spirit of someone much older than her, and therefore the song, albeit about an adult subject, seems to somehow match her voice. The audience is slightly surprised by her voice at first and then bursts into applause at the conclusion.

We see Georgia’s family weep and jump with excitement as they watch each of the judges pine for her to join their team. During the whole length of the audition, one judge even plays piano for her and recalls the song “Georgia on My Mind.”

Another judge sings, “I’m just calling to say I want you.” Sweet Georgia is conflicted and seems a bit apprehensive, but she selects her team, and they hand her gifts as she goes offstage to join her family.

Georgia no doubt has a bright future ahead of her; we can’t wait to watch where her wonderful voice leads her in the competition and beyond.
