Celine Dion is widely regarded as one of the best vocalists in the world, and many artists have attempted, but failed, to emulate her. But here’s a video of a 10-year-old Filipino boy named Peter Rosalita who gets as close as almost anyone of any age.
For his America’s Got Talent audition, he performs “All By Myself,” a song Celine popularized in 1996. Eric Carmen wrote and performed the song in 1975, when it peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, it is based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18, composed between 1900 and 1901.
All that aside, here we have a preteen little guy taking on this massive song, and it is not an exaggeration to say that he slays it.

Peter soars to amazing heights after a rough start. By the end, all four judges are on their feet, and Simon remarks, “That was an amazing audition. There were parts of the audition that truly filled me with chills! You have a fantastic voice, charisma, and energy.
