The stage was silent, an unusual silence, as if something was waiting. It was a talent show, but this time no one was visible on stage. The judges were looking at the empty space, not understanding whether this was a mistake or a planned performance.

Suddenly, from the edge of the stage, a small car slowly came forward. It was moving on its own, without a driver, without any visible control. Whispers started in the audience; people were looking at each other. The car stopped right in the center of the stage.

After a moment, a voice came from inside. But it was not a human voice in the usual sense. Inside the car, there was a small toy, and it was the one speaking. — Hello… please come closer, I need you.

One of the judges, curious and a bit cautious, stood up and walked toward the stage. He stood next to the car, not knowing what to expect.

The toy spoke again. — You… yes you. Please sit here.

 

On the stage, there was a small chair, as if it was prepared just for him. The judge hesitated for a moment, then sat down.

The audience became even quieter.

The toy continued. — Thank you… now listen carefully.

A small compartment opened inside the car, where an envelope was placed. — Please open this, said the toy.

The judge took the envelope and slowly opened it. Everyone in the audience held their breath.

Inside there was a short but strange sentence. He read it out loud.

And at that moment, his face changed. Surprise in his eyes… then a deep silence.

The judge stayed seated, not saying anything for a few seconds.

Because that envelope was not just a game.
