A 13-year-old boy stepped onto the stage, and when he sang first notes, the judges were speechless

A little 13-year-old boy carried a thousand hopes onstage. His eyes flashed with nervousness, yet deep behind, a silent fire simmered. Then, the opening chords of a Celine Dion favorite rippled across the air. And then—magic.

The instant he opened his mouth, the environment transformed. Every audience member was engulfed by his deep, authoritative voice. Silence was filled with gasps. The judges, caught in the storm of his talent, jolted upright, eyes stretched wide, jaws unhinged. Time itself seemed to hold its breath, hanging on every perfect note.

When we think of the titanic classic, we think of the famous song from the very talented singer, “Celine Dione.” Ordinarily, I have only come across powerful female voices covering the song. The judges of The Voice were ecstatic after hearing a 13-year-old sing “My Heart Will Go On” flawlessly.

To capture the love song’s appeal, the vocally hard notes require a strong voice. And coming from a 13-year-old can be surprising for anyone and everyone who hears it.

Abu Rahman not only chose the ballad in his performance in “The Voice Kids, Belgium” but excelled while singing it out on top of his lungs.

Abu was only into the seconds of the song when the three judges punched the buttons only to be stunned with the appearance of a small youngster. Initially, he appears shy. Once he hits the second line, his vocal quality is undeniably amazing.

The judges’ face shows a clear sign of surprise and instant approval. Sean even climbs out of his chair, cross-legged on the floor mesmerized with the note Abu picks up as the song progresses.

From goosebumps to joys of tears, Abu deserves all the praise coming his way after the performance. Don’t you think? Please leave us a Facebook comment with your thoughts after watching the complete video below!
