In April 2016, Britain’s Got Talent Week 2 auditions featured an electrifying performance by the 100 Voices of Gospel, an international choir. Their passionate rendition of the gospel classic “This Little Light of Mine” prompted judge Alesha Dixon to hit the coveted Golden Buzzer, sending them straight to the live shows.

The choir, representing over 20 countries and including attorneys, nurses, and police officers, delivered an inspiring and structured performance that had both the crowd and judges cheering.

Alesha Dixon complimented the group:

“Everything about you … is my idea of heaven.”

Simon Cowell was quick to voice his sadness, saying, “I wanted them!” Alesha swooped in first, saying that “if you snooze, you lose”.
