Check out this video to get you in the Christmas spirit – featuring one of the world’s top acapella groups performing the most iconic Christmas song ever.
Human Nature, originally formed as a “doo-wop” group, has evolved into one of the leading acapella bands globally, alongside the Pentatonix. Since 1989, they’ve been captivating audiences and were even inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame.
“White Christmas” is more famous than the band singing it, recognized as the best-selling song of all time with 50 million copies sold. It was penned by Irving Berlin (with conflicting accounts of the year, either 1940 or later) and famously sung by Bing Crosby in the 1942 film “Holiday Inn,” winning the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
But the story behind “White Christmas” goes beyond its association with a single movie. Crosby initially performed it on the radio, where it topped the charts for weeks, before its cinematic debut. He then recorded it again for the 1954 movie “White Christmas,” which was created to showcase the song.
This rendition deserves more recognition. Don’t miss the full video below!
