If you are reading this in the United States, it is likely that a dissatisfied couple is currently dissolving their marriage and filing for divorce. This is because one married couple in this country files for divorce every 13 seconds. We all know this is not true, and Vicki, who just divorced after 44 years of marriage, is no exception.

Vicki, like so many others, was once again alone and unsure where to go. Vicki must have recognized how important it is to feel secure and good about yourself when she decided to meet with Christopher Hopkins, sometimes known as “The Makeover Guy,” as her first step. She was excited about her makeover, knowing Hopkins could embrace her newly single self and make her feel joyful and amazing!

It may be tough to be freshly alone, particularly after a 44-year marriage. Vicki’s feelings and hope when she stated that she had been waiting for a long time to consider herself attractive again were both extremely palpable on film. She was simply terrified of being alone, especially since the last time she was alone was when she was 18 years old! Who wouldn’t be afraid?

The Makeover Guy certainly understood her, as he knew exactly how to help her. Instead of simply a quick hairstyle, Christopher believed her incredible inner beauty demanded a complete metamorphosis. Christopher wanted to go above and beyond for this wonderful lady after noticing her apparent lack of confidence or even depression.

He started with Vicki’s hair, removing a large amount of length and coloring the rest. As the color began to take effect, he concentrated on her cosmetics. Throughout the process, Christopher has expressed his support for her. He started by coloring her brows a shade or two lighter than their natural color, so they would blend in with her newly evened-out skin tone after applying a light foundation. Vicki lost more of her individuality.
