A family from North Carolina captured on camera a bear breaking into their cabin in Tennessee, helping itself to a bag of popcorn, and trespassing on their land.

Teniesh Pinnix captured many videos of the bear that visited the property of their cabin rental in Gatlinburg and shared them to Facebook in a series.

Pinnix watched as the bear went around the vehicles that were parked in front of the cabin, and eventually got into an unlocked van after realizing the door was left unlocked.

The bear made off with a bag of popcorn from the vehicle just as they were leaving the neighborhood…

In an interview with the Queen City News, Pinnix stated, “I’m from Caswell County, and although there are some unique animals out there, I’ve never seen a bear.”

After some time had passed, the family was able to piece together that the bear had broken into a nearby vehicle and taken a bag of chips.

Pinnix remarked that the episode provided valuable information.

“Don’t leave anything in your car,” was the piece of advice she gave.
