Beloved TV judge shares some terrible health news and asks for our prayers…

Caught in Providence followers have taken to social media to express their support for Judge Frank Caprio after he revealed his cancer diagnosis.

Frank Caprio, a former chief judge of the municipal court of Providence, Rhode Island, is most known for his position as ‘the kindest judge in the world’ on the reality TV show Caught in Providence, which premiered in 2018.

Yesterday (6 December), the 87-year-old turned to social media to offer an update on his current health situation.

The renowned TV judge recalls his birthday as “one of the happiest days of the year.”

“I recently celebrated my 87th birthday and received so many wonderful messages from people all over the world,” he says. This birthday is unlike any other one I have ever experienced.

“Quite recently, I was not feeling well, and I received a medical examination, and the report was not a good one.”

Judge Caprio admits that he has pancreatic cancer, which he describes as an “insidious form of cancer.”

He reveals that he is receiving care from two different medical teams, one in Rhode Island and the other in Boston, Massachusetts.

“I pray that God guides their thoughts, their hands, and their treatment of me,” he continues. I know there is a long road ahead of me, but I’m ready to fight as hard as I can.

“One question I am frequently asked is, ‘What can I do for you?’ First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to every one of you for your friendship and wonderful messages.

“However, I would like to ask each of you to pray for me in your own way.” I need the power of prayer, which I feel, together with the medical therapy I’m receiving, is the most potent weapon I have to help me survive this.

“Just knowing you’re thinking about me means the world to me.” So, thank you for all of your previous words, thank you for your kind support, and please keep in mind that this is just a modest prayer. I would be grateful.”

Fans of the judge have flocked to the post to express their gratitude.

“We love you so much,” one Instagram user said. I’m hoping for a speedy recovery.”

“I will remember you in my prayers every day.” “Good and generous souls like yours make the world a better place,” said another.

“You are the embodiment of true justice on earth, and God will not overlook that,” said a third. My best wishes for your recovery, Judge. “You’ve got this!”
