Cameron Diaz looks radiant in a sheer top and bold lip at her first movie premiere in 11 years.
Cameron Diaz drew attention when she walked the red carpet for her first movie debut in 11 years on Wednesday.
Following the cancellation of Back in Action’s New York City premiere due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, the 52-year-old actress made an appearance in Berlin, Germany, to promote the film alongside her costar, Jamie Foxx.
Diaz, dressed in dark-washed, wide-legged jeans and a transparent black top beneath a long trench coat, appeared for photos to promote the Netflix flick. She wore Jennifer Fisher Puffy Dagger earrings and an Alexis Bittar clip earring.
Diaz added a flare of color by pairing her bright red nail paint with a red lip and delicate pink blush. She styled her hair in a casual, loose updo.
Foxx, 57, likewise opted for a dark color palette, sporting a black jacket with white and black stripes on the lining. The actor completed the appearance with black pants and matching dress shoes.
Back in Action is Diaz’s first feature since 2014’s Annie, in which she costarred alongside Foxx. They initially appeared together in the 1999 film Any Given Sunday.
According to the synopsis, Seth Gordon’s new picture stars Diaz and Foxx as former CIA operatives Emily and Matt.
“Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown,” according to the description.
The cast also includes Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, and Jamie Demetriou.
In June 2022, Diaz first announced her return to acting. At the time, Foxx told Entertainment Tonight that he persuaded her to return to acting by promising them a favorable time.
“Basically, the question was, ‘Do you want to have some fun?'” Just have some fun! And I believe that’s what drew her to it,” Foxx remarked. “In our profession, we occasionally overlook important moments, and I believe this is one of them. So we’re thrilled that it’s occurring and looking forward to it.”
After a medical issue delayed production in April 2023, Foxx was spotted closing up scenes with Diaz in January 2024.
