Carrie Underwood, a country singer, experienced a horrible fall at her luxurious house, requiring 40to50 stitches to her face.
She and her husband, Mike Fisher, experienced three miscarriages.
They sold their opulent home and relocated to a remote farm that they constructed from scratch.
Underwood refuses to buy groceries for her family and grows them herself. Carrie Underwood rose to notoriety after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005, with her single “Inside Your Heaven” becoming the only country artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Three years later, she encountered former NHL player Mike Fisher during one of her gigs in late 2008. They began dating soon after and became engaged in December 2009.
Fisher allegedly got down on one knee in Ottawa to surprise Underwood with a $150,000 engagement ring containing a yellow diamond.
Six months later, the couple married at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia, in front of 250 of their closest friends and family, in a ceremony described by the wedding planner as “a spiritual expression of their love.”

The newlyweds began their marriage at Underwood’s huge house in an upscale Nashville neighborhood. They also acquired 400 undeveloped acres in Nashville’s picturesque and semi-rural suburbs, where numerous other country music movers and shakers live.
Underwood couldn’t be happier. She was establishing a life that had seemed like a faraway dream only a few years before, and she had fallen in love with a lovely man. In 2019, she expressed to People that she believed he was the perfect match for her.

Underwood and Fisher became first-time parents.
After settling into their married life, Underwood and Fisher began trying for children. They shared the wonderful news that they had received their first child, son Isaiah Michael Fisher, in February 2015.
It didn’t matter that Fisher’s club was struggling at work and had lost to the New Jersey Devils. His son’s birth always made him happy. He recalls at the time: “We were excited; there’s nothing better than being a dad…there’s no better feeling.”
Unfortunately, the “Somethin’ Bad” singer suffered several injuries after a frightening accident on the steps outside her home. Fisher, who had been traveling for work, returned to Nashville overnight to be with her.
The mishap, which occurred only days after she presented the CMA Awards at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, resulted in a broken wrist and scratches and abrasions to her body.

In an interview with CBS News Tracy Smith in 2018, the award-winning artist discussed the mishap, revealing that she had 40-50 stitches in her face.
Despite the gravity of the fall, it was virtually nothing in comparison to what the singer had gone through the previous year, another disheartening incident she had, oddly enough, while promoting her album “Cry Pretty.”
Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.

Underwood and her husband had a good start to 2017, but as the year proceeded, they knew they were in for a difficult time. Underwood had intended to focus on new songs and have their second child.
They became pregnant a second time and were expecting their kid in 2017. However, this was not to be as they experienced a miscarriage. They believed it wasn’t the right time to have their second child, so they focused on recovery and thinking.
She became pregnant again later that year. Unfortunately, the same thing happened; they miscarried again. As if that wasn’t enough, they lost their third child in early 2018.
Throughout the event, Underwood maintained a cheerful attitude and was scared to express anger. She stated that she always felt blessed and had nothing to complain about. She said, “I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, and an incredible child.” Can I become mad? No!”
After three tragic miscarriages, Underwood was saddened when, one Saturday night at home, she believed she was having a fourth one. She continued asking God why she was getting pregnant but not carrying the infants to term.
She walked into her son’s room and held him while weeping, convinced it was the fourth time. Even in her despair, she begged God to let her have her kid.
That Monday, she went to the physicians to confirm another loss, but they informed her that everything was OK. She carried the pregnancy to term and had their second son, Jacob, on January 21, 2019. She expressed her excitement, stating, “And I was like, ‘You heard me.'” He has done so before. However, I’m uncertain if He truly heard me.

Months after her horrific fall at their Brentwood, Tennessee home, Underwood and her husband put the house up for sale after shifting to their custom-built mansion about 30 minutes from Nashville’s city center.
An insider informed People that they opted to relocate following the tragic fall and that security concerns also influenced their decision. They bought the big dream house in 2019 and constructed it from the ground up.

The kitchen has a long bench and a black table to create a breakfast nook with a beautiful view of the expansive area outside. Their expansive grounds allow the couple to raise horses and other farm animals.

Underwood and her family have found fulfillment in their life on the farm. She has taken up the practice of raising her own veggies and foodstuffs. She claims she no longer buys vegetables for her family.
