Fans of The Voice UK are divided over Sir Tom Jones’ performance with Billy and Louie! ‘The reason is…?’

ITV’s The Voice UK 2024 showcased the brilliant singers one last time during its season finale on Saturday. The segment marked the end of season 13 and announced who won the singing competition.

The singers and coaches gave various performances during the segment, including one by Billy and Louie from Sir Tom Jones’ squad. They sang “Farther Away” together. The studio audience gave the group positive feedback, but online viewers had mixed feelings. One individual wrote on X:

“Tom Jones still can sing at the age of 84, which is remarkable. He is an absolute legend.”

“Sadly, it’s difficult to surpass a Tom Jones duet,” a fan said.
According to a post, it’s unfair for a dog groomer/teacher to compete against a professional who has performed with Tom Jones and received nominations for music awards in Canada.
Some fans of The Voice UK 2024 expressed dissatisfaction with Sir Tom Jones’ performance with the finalists.

“I’m so bored with #thevoiceuk. The candidates lack appeal, and the mentors are striving to surpass them. Tom Jones’ decision to choose Louis and Douie over Ace last week was ridiculous. Tom Jones is out. Ollie Murs, please come back, lol,” someone said.
“I love Tom Jones, but my god, this is so boring!” one admirer said.

“Tom Jones is actually getting boring now,” one tweet said.
Fans of The Voice UK 2024 further stated:

“Billy, Louis, and Tom Jones’ voices blend so well!” someone wrote.
“Tom Jones is 84 years old and still stands there like a brick sh*t-house belting it out,” said one of the fans.

Season 13’s season finale aired earlier this week, and Ava Mannings was the winner. She won the big prize of £50,000, a trip to Florida, America, and a recording deal.

Tom and Danny, Ava’s instructors, praised her journey and celebrated their victory following the news. Danny assured Ava that they were both proud of her effort. Tom Fletcher also reminded her that she gave it her “all.”

Billy and Louie’s performance with Sir Tom Jones elicited mixed reactions among fans. While some applauded the group, others were disappointed with their performance at Farther Away.
