Goldie Hawn revealed that the glitter and beauty of Los Angeles no longer captivate her after two horrible occurrences in her own house.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s home was not immune to Los Angeles’ rising crime rate. During her interview on Kelly Ripa’s ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast, the seasoned actress said that she wishes to migrate from the city, especially after she and her family endured two break-ins in a short time.

She revealed that she and her longtime companion, Kurt Russell, had been discussing prospective relocation sites. They saw that Palm Desert is a lovely place, but now consider it “terrible” compared to Los Angeles.

Hawn detailed two burglaries that she and her family had endured. In both cases, she stated that the burglars attempted to obtain access to her property. One group of burglars successfully searched her rooms.

She described the scope of the robbery, saying, “They tore down my safe door. They are really intelligent, and they stole a lot of my belongings, if you know what I mean.”

Just four months after the first incident, as they were trying to move on, the couple fell victim to another robbery. The entire incident acted as a spark for her to take action, as she realized that Los Angeles might not be the best atmosphere for her. The experience left her so disturbed that she was always cautious and unable to relax.

Burglaries have not just targeted Goldie Hawn’s home. Crimes allegedly targeted several renowned individuals in 2024, including King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson.
