Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrate their son Dylan’s 24th birthday. But wait to see him today…

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are honoring their son Dylan!

On Thursday, August 8, the pleased parents celebrated their son’s 24th birthday with loving comments on their Instagram sites.

“Wow, @Dylan__Douglas! 24! You’re going rapidly, my boy!” Happy birthday from a proud father!” Douglas, 79, said in an Instagram caption.

He also posted a photo of Dylan wearing a cowboy hat as he turned back to the camera while standing outside.

Douglas tagged photographer cinematographer Evan Miller in the image, which he also posted on Instagram Stories.

Zeta-Jones, 54, also wished her son a happy birthday on Instagram, sharing a flashback video of her speaking to Dylan as a newborn.

John Lennon’s song “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)” accompanied the video, showing a pleased mother embracing her child as he lay on a towel in a bathroom.

Dylan, then a newborn, wiggled his legs and arms and stroked his mother’s face while she smiled at the camera.

“Happy 24th birthday to my kid, @dylan__douglas! Zeta-Jones’ caption read: “The joy and love you bring me every day is insurmountable.” “Being your mother is a privilege that I never underestimate. “I cherish you, my handsome son. ♥️.”

The mother of two then posted the footage on her Instagram Stories, captioned “Happy Birthday to my son, @dylan_douglas.” I love you.”

In addition to Dylan, Douglas and Zeta-Jones are the delighted parents of daughter Carys, 21, and Douglas has a son Cameron, 45, with ex-wife Diandra Luker.

Zeta-Jones announced in June that she and Douglas planned to sell their $12 million New York property since their children were “leaving the nest.”

“When I bought our Irvington home, I knew our family would have many happy times here, and we did!” she told The Wall Street Journal.

“Now that both our son and daughter have left the nest, it seems like the right time to sell,” she explained.
