Musician Herbie Russ’ performance of Joe Cocker’s Timeless Classic impressed the whole audience!

Herbie Russ is an incredible musician who performed a stunningly impressive audition on America’s Got Talent. Having advanced to the Judge Cuts stage, Herbie chose a legendary Joe Cocker song that sounds remarkably similar to his own. The 54-year-old’s rendition of ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ dominated the stage, complete with a saxophone performance!

Herbie, a musician, has inherited many personality traits from his struggles. His promising career as a saxophone player abruptly ended in the sixth grade. Herbie sustained a hand injury in sixth grade, which significantly hindered his ability to play the instrument. It would take years of recuperation before he could play the saxophone again.

Drug misuse caused a downward spiral that included periods of homelessness. Drugs, after all, led to his expulsion from the house years ago. Herbie has lived as a poor musician since that day, moving about and doing random concerts to finance his lifestyle.

This artist recognized a calling that went beyond mere combat. According to his website, Herbie’s account of the turning point is as follows: “After years of wandering… he ultimately turned to God and said, “You’ve given me this skill; I need some direction.” From that day on, he became a dedicated artist, regularly assisting at homeless shelters.

Herbie Russ sang the song “With a Little Help From My Friends” in a voice reminiscent of Joe Cocker. Simon Cowell was quick to provide some insightful advice, emphasizing the importance of risk. Most, however, consider his extraordinary appearance to be a fortuitous accident, which he took advantage of.
