Pamela Anderson has replied to charges that her alleged connection with Liam Neeson is ‘artificial’ with the concept of ‘PR stunts.’
Back in July, Neeson and Anderson created quite a commotion during the press tour for their new film, The Naked Gun, in which the two actors played romantic interests Frank Drebin Jr. and Beth Davenport.
Not only had the couple been raving over each other—Neeson had earlier stated that he was ‘madly in love’ with Anderson—but they also had a lot of PDA on the red carpet.
Many fans wondered if there was anything between the two besides their on-screen chemistry. Others, however, said it was all a hoax to promote The Naked Gun, with insiders telling gossip columnist Rob Shuter that the apparent relationship was only “business.”

The couple has already addressed the suspicions surrounding their relationship, but not in the manner that many anticipated.
Despite all the speculation over whether their relationship is genuine, Anderson has spoken out against ‘PR gimmicks,’ claiming unequivocally that she would never participate in them.
“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” the star of The Last Showgirl declared at the Deauville American Film Festival. “That would be the death penalty. I’m genuinely motivated. I’m superstitious about love. And I’m not comfortable disclosing any aspect of my romantic life.
“I’m sure I’ll fall in love again and again on TV. That’s my job. If we perform it well, you will experience it as a projection. It’s the finest praise.
“So, please think positively. And I appreciate your best wishes. No stupid games are being played. “I am sincere.”

She went on to say, “Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness.” I’m on this road not for money or celebrity, but to discover my true self through hard work and to leave an honest legacy that my family can be proud of.”
Despite all of the talk in recent weeks, a UNILAD insider has assured that the scenes involving Anderson and the Taken star are ‘real.’
“Everything between Liam and Pam has been genuine, and neither of them would ever take part in a publicity stunt like that,” they stated. They continued: “It’s so absurd; neither of them needs that publicity.”
According to the source, rumors that the performers’ seeming relationship is only for marketing purposes are ‘not accurate at all.’
