Pregnant mom snaps a stunning picture—but look who comes up on the right

A wonderful way for soon-to-be parents to capture the joy and excitement of starting a new family is to photograph and document the expecting mother’s baby bulge. The couple will always be able to look back on their pregnancy images and remember the events leading up to the birth of their beloved child.

While every pregnant woman’s photo is wonderful in its own right, some stand out more than others. Dan Mozer, 30, a future parent, suggested that he and his wife take some photographs at nearby Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida.

Locals like the beach, which is a popular area to relax, walk, and snap photographs.

Dan was instantly inspired with creativity and asked his wife, Angelina, to capture some shots with the sea as a backdrop. He pulled out his camera and shot a couple of pictures. Angelina smiled heartily as she proudly exposed her developing baby tummy in front of the waves on the beach.

Dan realized he had taken the photo of a lifetime as soon as he saw what was in the backdrop. What was it that emerged behind Angelina at just the perfect time?

A dolphin surfaced from the sea while Dan was photographing it!

It wasn’t completely unexpected because Dan was aware of the existence of dolphins in the area. However, he never envisioned seeing one leaping against the backdrop of his wife’s pregnancy shot.

“Oh my God, when I took it, I thought to myself. Unfortunately, she absolutely missed it, Dan explained to AWM.

Dan and Angelina credit the shot to their 27-year-old son Courtland. The two crack jokes about Courtland summoning the dolphin out of his mother’s womb.

Dan provided Yahoo with further details on how the remarkable shot was captured: “We could see the dorsal fins of the dolphins, and someone started screaming to us that there were dolphins.” Then this thing emerges out of nowhere, leaping out of the water.

Perhaps the dolphin knew what was going on? Dan said, “I liked the picture of the first jump the best, but the dolphin actually jumped twice.”

Despite Courtland’s apparent ability to communicate with dolphins, Angelina and Dan have opted not to alter his name. “No, we’re not changing his name to Dolph Finn, as some have suggested,” Dan told me.

Isn’t it a wonderful shot Dan captured? If you agree, please share!
