Susan Boyle’s cover of “Little Drummer Boy” will give you a new, dramatic touch to this well-loved holiday classic and make you feel joyful

If Susan Boyle is going to accomplish one thing, it will be to perform a Christmas song flawlessly.

Listening to Susan Boyle’s lovely singing is the perfect way to get into the Christmas mood as December 25 approaches.

The Got Talent icon recorded a beautiful rendition of “Little Drummer Boy” in 2013 and included it as the third track on her holiday album, Home for Christmas. The CD features some of the most well-known Christmas carols, and Boyle excels with her brilliant rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.”

Boyle’s cinematic voice is evident from the first stanza. The U.K.-based harmony group The Overtones seamlessly complement her, and electronic bagpipes join her on this song.

By now, fans are aware of Boyle’s strong religious convictions, and it’s evident how much joy and respect she infuses into her rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.” Although the diva is always enjoyable to listen to, her Christmas songs usually have a unique sound.

Boyle still has a bucket-list performer she hopes to collaborate with someday, even though she has spent the last 15 years performing on the greatest stages in the world with some of the most gifted vocalists in the business.

The 63-year-old disclosed her ideal on-stage vocal partner in a 2020 interview with Ticketmaster Discover; he is currently a coach on The Voice.

She admitted, “I want to sing with Michael Bublé.” “I also want to sing with Alfie Boe.”
