The X Factor is one of the most popular talent shows in the world. Many aspiring singers aspire to showcase their skills on stage, hoping to impress the judges and gain recognition. Most competitors sing popular songs; however, the one in the video below opted to perform his tryouts a bit differently.

Willie Jones surprised the judges with his flair, but it was his voice that truly wowed them. He opted to sing “Your Man” by Josh Turner, a song written by Chris DuBois, Jace Everett, and Chris Stapleton. Turner’s original contains his rich baritone voice, and it turned out to be the ideal song choice for Willie, who also has a deep voice that is well-suited to country music.

For someone so young, he had a mature voice! The judges were first taken aback by his choice of music, but as the performance went on, they grew to like his voice! And as he grinned, everyone (even Brittany) recognized they were seeing an outstanding performance.
