If you watch “The Carol Burnett Show,” you’ll notice that it continually makes people laugh and grin. Tim Conway’s excellent improvisation in this clip had his stars in stitches.

While playing the game “Password,” Conway’s character Mickey Hart decided to share a humorous story about an elephant living in a circus. Dick Van Dyke, Vicki Lawrence, and Carol Burnett were unable to stop laughing.

Conway’s story took an unexpected turn when he mentioned the elephant and its trainer having a sexual relationship. He even joked about their shared burial after death. The other performers could not control their emotions, shivering and concealing their faces as they tried to collect themselves.

Imagine how contagious the performers’ and studio audience’s laughter was. Moments like these serve as a reminder of how popular “The Carol Burnett Show” is.
