With an amusing line dance, ten cowboys brighten up the stage

Brazil conjures up images of a lovely nation shaped by the Portuguese Empire. Colonial architecture, Roman Catholicism, and a blending of African, indigenous, and European cultures and customs are also prevalent. Many films and television series have included or featured the nation as a setting. It’s a beautiful piece of property.

In Brazil, this is the Comanches Country Festival.
This group of 10, dressed in red and black jackets, jeans, and cowboy hats, is as country as it gets. “Summertime Blues” by Alan Jackson is the tune of choice for these great men (and two females). The song is so country that it makes you want to gather your belongings, hop on a horse, and ride away!

This is line dancing as it has been described. People dance in lines or rows, doing a set of moves in unison without making contact with one another. They all face the same direction, do the steps, and then reverse direction until they return to where they started.

They don’t all have the same amount of enthusiasm, as some are completely immersed in it, bouncing and whirling, while others simply follow along. They may have been bashful or not as talented dancers, but it’s all about having fun!

There’s even some Western ballroom between one of the girl dancers and one of the more attractive man dancers. Not to suggest the others aren’t attractive; perhaps it was her desire to dance with him. Hmm…

However, the scene is fantastic. Like a scene from a movie where they dance in a tavern.

The rural spirit is alive and well. They’ve even received praise in the comments section.

“I was completely taken with this middle cowboy; everyone danced well, but he stood out.” I was just in the mood to dance with this bunch since I enjoy country music. Congratulations to everyone.”

The beauty of country music and dancing is that they are lighthearted and simple to learn. Simple, exactly like country living. If you’re new to dancing or are shy, simply step on the dance floor and let loose! A couple of drinks might also be beneficial!

Line dancing focuses on the legs and feet, using counts to match the rhythm. So long as you’re counting, it’s really simple to follow. The more advanced dances employ the use of arms and hands, but don’t be concerned if others are doing so. Simply follow the count!

These Texas Cowboys, on the other hand, move quickly. Imagine yourself dancing in boots and jeans, and you’ll understand. Those smiles may be for show, but you have to think they’re having a good time. And it appears to be! A fantastic and wonderful dance.” It’s fantastic. Excellent effort, gentlemen.”

Even their admirers concur. It’s a lot of fun to see. The entire purpose of a performance is to make the audience and everyone in attendance smile, and it is safe to say that these line dancers did an excellent job!
