Yorkshire dad’s hilarious parenting song had Britain’s Got Talent judges crying with laughter

He told Simon he wants to support his family by singing professionally and has written a song about parenting to share. He stated he performs the song for his kids every night before bed, and the crowd responds with loud ‘ahhs.’

The teacher then started into his humorous song, which featured lyrics about tantrums, soiling pants, toothpaste, aging, and the necessity for parents to drink, to which the audience clapped along. His song got all of the judges laughing, with Ant remarking, ‘Hilarious,’ at the conclusion.

Simon then broke into a Yorkshire accent as he stated that he expected it to be an emotional song rather than one about ‘chicken nuggets every night.’ Alesha remarked it wasn’t the finest song she’d ever heard, which elicited loud booing from the audience, prompting Andrew to ask, “I like how some of the audience think it is the best song they’ve ever heard; is this the best song you’ve ever heard?” The crowd then erupted in tremendous cheers.

Bruno stated that it made him laugh, while Amanda remarked, “I thought it was very funny, very relatable.” He said he had songs about his annoying kids and terrible wife when she asked what else he had.

Andrew received four yes votes, and Ant exclaimed, “Get in,” as he exited the stage. And then commented, “You remind me of Peter Kay— a very early Peter Kay.” You’re very funny.”
