Zac Efron has been hospitalized following an incident

The Hollywood actor has been traveling around Europe in recent weeks, most notably attending ‘Prelude To The Olympics’ at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, France, on July 25.

Efron has been seen partying in Ibiza and even joined close friend Martin Garrix on stage during his DJ performance at Ushuaïa, resembling scenes from his 2015 film We Are Your Friends.

It is believed that the 36-year-old resides in a villa on the island, where he allegedly had an incident in the pool.

Accounts state that Efron became upset in the water for unknown reasons and required assistance from two villa staff members.

On August 3, they brought him to the hospital as a precaution.

A representative for the celebrity informed TMZ that Efron was involved in a minor swimming incident at the villa.
According to the publication, the Iron Claw star is on the mend.

Hospitalization for mishaps is nothing new for Efron, who ‘almost died’ in a 2013 incident that left him with a shattered jaw.

While sprinting through his home in a pair of socks, Efron is believed to have stumbled and injured his face on a granite fountain.

As a result, he required surgery and had his mouth wired shut for a length of time. The actor also had to go through physical rehabilitation afterward.

According to Efron, the event caused his face’s contour to shift over time because various muscles had to work harder to compensate for his near-fatal condition.

He was still going through physical therapy to try and fix it by 2022.

Efron told Men’s Health that he had to break from treatment while filming the second season of Down to Earth with Zac Efron in Australia, saying, “The masseters just grew.” They just became incredibly large.”

The masseter muscles are a pair of jaw muscles that play a role in chewing. You can find them on both the left and right sides of your face.

Here’s hoping Efron’s most recent mishap isn’t quite as bad.
