Father hurries to fetch his 6-year-old daughter from school; the teacher quickly notices a detail on his pants…

As a parent, you’re willing to go above and beyond for your child. No task is too great, no cause too small, no obstacle too daunting.

Why? Because you never want your little ones to feel scared, sad, or alone.

When Ben Sowards, a dad from Utah, USA, received a call from his 6-year-old daughter at school, he knew he had to rush to her side right away.

Before heading to pick her up, Ben came up with an idea. He felt there must be something he could do to lighten the situation for his daughter, so he decided to make her laugh instead.

Ben ended up splashing water on his own pants before getting in the car and driving to the school, as reported by the Huffington Post.

“She was completely exasperated. But, once she saw my pants, I got that look from her where I knew everything was okay. All dads know what look I’m talking about. And we just strolled out of the school like nothing was happening.”

All Ben had to do was drive to the school to pick up his daughter. He went the extra mile, however, because he didn’t want her to feel embarrassed. What a wonderful dad!

There are many amazing dads in the world, but few who think outside the box like Ben does.
