To kick off the festivities, they chose an Eagles rock classic, “Heartache Tonight,” to properly introduce themselves. The song, which initially appeared on the 1979 album “The Long Run,” was an excellent choice for the coaches to demonstrate their musical abilities.

Snoop has been building up anticipation for his “The Voice” debut for months. Just four months ago, ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the rapper appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where he expressed his enthusiasm.

“Well, if you know anything about me, you know that I enjoy all types of music. So this is a fantastic opportunity for me to demonstrate that I truly understand music and, you know, be a true coach,” he told Fallon.

The renowned rapper expressed his enthusiasm for working with the other coaches and his willingness to help musicians. Snoop is generating a sensation in season 26 not just for his coaching but also for the gifts he delivers to the contestants.

He bestows Death Row Records chains, a legendary nod to the hip-hop company under his control, as rewards to his top performers. Jake Tankersley was one lucky contender who could have earned one of those coveted chains after turning the tables with a great rendition of Zach Bryan’s “Something in the Orange.”

We already expect Snoop’s “The Voice” debut to be one of the season’s most talked-about moments. Snoop’s calm demeanor, remarkable vocal ability, and unusual teaching method indicate that he’s ready to make his imprint, and his fans are ready for it!
