Passenger who spent the whole journey imprisoned in the plane’s bathroom receives message from flight attendant

After spending the entire trip in the restroom, an airline passenger revealed the message they received from a flight attendant.

Flying isn’t always enjoyable, particularly in light of the recent trend of ‘raw-dogging’ on airline flights.

However, spending the entire flight trapped in a plane’s restroom will be the worst flying experience of your life.

It seems too terrifying to be true, but for one passenger, it became a reality just after they took off from Mumbai Airport in India earlier this year.

The only fortunate aspect of this narrative is that SpiceJet Flight SG-268 lasted just over an hour, flying from Mumbai at 2 a.m. local time to Bengaluru in India’s southern Karnataka state.

Despite this, the male passenger without a name continued to experience stress due to the lockdown.

After takeoff, the passenger immediately went to the restroom.

However, he was unable to leave the toilet since the door would not open.

The cheap airline claimed in a statement that “a passenger unfortunately got stuck inside the lavatory for about an hour.”

The staff and several others onboard attempted to liberate the man, but nothing appeared to work.

It means that the passenger was stuck in the lavatory as the commercial flight landed at Kempegowda International Airport.

The man was naturally alarmed by the whole situation, so a flight attendant decided to slip a message under the door to soothe him.

After all the hoopla, the message quickly went viral.

“Sir, we tried our best to open the door, however, we could not,” it began.”Do not panic. We are landing in a few minutes, so please close the commode lid and sit on it and secure yourself. As soon as the main door is open, an engineer will come. Do not panic.”

That’s exactly what occurred when the jet landed: two engineers boarded and broke down the door once it was on the ground.

The man received “urgent medical treatment” after leaving the restroom.

Since the passenger’s story made international news, the airline has offered him a full refund.

In a statement, SpiceJet expressed its regret and apology for the passenger’s inconvenience.

“We are providing a full refund to the passenger.”
