A woman shocked everyone when she confessed to eating her late husband’s ashes after learning of his adultery.
In July of this year, the Canadian widow published an honest memoir about her condition, which received mostly positive reviews.
Before her husband passed away in 2015 while traveling to Texas for work, Jessica Waite was a mother and novelist.
Waite’s book, charmingly titled A Widow’s Guide to Dead Bastards, detailed her horrified and saddened discovery of her husband’s adulterous activities after his death.

When she unlocked his iPad to look up the phone number for the Houston hospital holding his body, she unintentionally stumbled upon his frightening internet history.
When typing ‘Houston’ into the search field, it automatically populated ‘Houston escorts’. Upon further investigation, Waite found additional searches for specific escorts, which included details such as pricing and locations.
It was a heartbreaking finding for the widow.
Aside from that, she discovered that he frequently met with prostitutes and cheated on her with various women, while lying about working late on certain days and instead downloading hundreds of pornographic movies on his computer, which were meticulously organized into separate folders.
Waite even learned that he was renting an apartment in Colorado, where he planned to have sex with escorts and pick up women.

Waite struggled to accept her husband’s hidden double life after years of marriage.
With her emotions running high, she broke open the bag containing his ashes and mingled them with her dog’s feces in her garden, but that wasn’t all.
She wrote, “I have desecrated the remains of my life partner. But then, in despair and regret, he grabbed more of his ashes and ate them. The leftovers feel dry to my hands, coarser than baking powder, and grainier than salt. They combine with the teary water, forming mineral muck on the back of my tongue.” I swallow.”
She subsequently admitted that she was ‘separated from reality in the wake of her spouse’s death’ when she carried out these crimes.

On Instagram, individuals commented on her eating the ashes, with one calling it ‘disgusting’ and another calling it a ‘bizarre circumstance’.
Another person said, “If [he] cheated, you should have flushed it,” while a fourth quipped, “She wanted to poop him out and flush him goodbye.”
Waite later said that even though she is in a new relationship, she still experiences daily pain from the man she has been with for so long.
“I feel better and stronger than before, but I still cry almost every day, and I still feel like a part of me has died,” she told me.
“Because the part of me that existed within Sean did.”
