Selena Gomez broke down weeping as she mused on America’s future in light of President Donald Trump’s newest decision

With Donald Trump assuming office for the second time, some celebrities have expressed reservations about the changes the Republican leader may make.

Singer Selena Gomez made it apparent that she is more than a little concerned when she posted a video of herself sobbing about one of the president’s most recent executive orders.

Trump pushed for actions to decrease and expel illegal immigrants residing in the United States.

After becoming president, he signed an executive order that is accused of affecting and deporting millions of people, and Gomez is concerned about these individuals.

Gomez cried and held her head in her hands, saying, “I’m so sorry. The attackers are targeting all my family members. I don’t comprehend what the children are saying.” I wish I could do something.”

However, she deleted the video shortly after, adding the message: “Apparently, it’s not okay to show empathy for others.”

Former US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan was named the Trump administration’s ‘border czar’ and has endorsed the president’s tough stance on illegal immigration.

Homan recently described how the military has been dispatched to assist at the Mexican border and how Trump is sending a strong statement to the world: our borders are locked.’.

According to him, “Illegal immigrants are at risk because breaking the law is unacceptable. You must remember that any unauthorized entry into our nation becomes a criminal under Title Eight, United States Code 1325.

While some social media users criticized Gomez, prompting her to delete the video, other fans pointed out that this isn’t the first time she’s expressed concerns about migration.

Others aimed at those who criticized the star.

One person wrote: “In 2019, Selena Gomez created a Netflix series named ‘Living Illegal’ that chronicled the lives of illegal families in the United States.

“She also discusses her grandparents, who are Mexican immigrants. This is not the first time she has addressed this issue.

“Selena’s tears convey a powerful message,” said another. Her concern for the children and families impacted is both terrible and inspirational,” as one-third commented: “It’s incredibly difficult to witness what’s going on. Your heart is in the right place, and simply speaking up makes a difference.

Another person said, “Thank you, Selena.” Empathy is incredibly important. I’ve realized that she can’t win no matter what she does.”
