The twins who are 101 years old are still inseparable despite the fact they have to fight for seeing each other… Just see what happened to one of them recently…

Some people are incredibly fortunate to be blessed with the gift of a twin.

Just for a moment, try to image yourself having someone at your side all the time, right from the beginning of your existence, and having a relationship with that person that will last till the end of time.

Just ask English twins Edith Dumbleton and Dorcas Tobin from Banbury about their experiences in the town.

They continue to get together once a week despite the fact that their homes are more than 50 miles apart, and they recently celebrated their 101st birthday.

Edith and Dorcas, who are the third-oldest twins in the UK, were born 45 minutes apart in Banbury on June 28, 1920.

This makes them the third-oldest twins in the UK. To put that into perspective, the non-identical sisters have lived through 25 prime ministers and four monarchs, as reported by the BBC.

On June 28, 2021, they commemorated their 101st birthday with a party.

We don’t know anyone else who is anywhere near to 100, so for us, it’s a miracle that we’ve made it this far.

“It’s amazing that we’ve reached this age since we don’t know anybody else who is anywhere close to 100. We are still going strong and making every effort to take advantage of the situation.”

According to Christine Bemand, the twins’ mother, their upbringing was described as “modest.” Christine Bemand is Edith Bemand’s 67-year-old daughter.

Their father, an engineer, went away suddenly when the twins were just 3 years old, which was a terrible tragedy.

According to what Christine said, “Their mother raised the five kids as a single mom, so it was a frugal upbringing that doesn’t appear to have done them any harm.”

Edith eventually tied the knot with a fellow named Frederick after some time had passed. They have been married for a total of fifty years and have been blessed with three children from their union.

When Frederik passed away, he was 89 years old, and it’s been 15 years since his passing.

In the meantime, Dorcas had a companion by the name of Horace. When he passed away at the age of 80, he had been married to Dorcas for a combined total of 30 years when he died.

They were able to have two children thanks to the good Lord.

When Christine was a young girl, her mother Edith and her aunt Dorcas both resided on a different side of Banbury from where Christine herself was raised.

The families got together rather frequently, and the cousins looked forward to the time they could spend together.

The two identical twin sisters frequently traveled together for their vacations, and Bournemouth was a favorite place for them to visit.

The sisters continue to be inseparable despite the fact that they are geographically separated by more than 130 kilometers (80 miles), and they make it a priority to visit each other at least once every seven days.

Dorcas, who resides in Banbury, Oxfordshire, with her son Robert, who is 71 years old, travels to Leominster, Herefordshire, on the second Tuesday of every week in order to spend quality time with her cherished sister. Robert is also 71 years old.

These two sisters share an unbreakable link with one another, which serves as an example for the rest of us and inspires us to do better.
