This woman fought for 6 years to adopt the boy she met at the orphanage… Her reason and perseverance will surely surprise you…

People are able to give their lives meaning in the most peculiar of circumstances at times.

This was the situation that a young lady found herself in when, at the age of 23, she began a legal battle to adopt a son from a country other than her own.

And now, here we are, six years later, with that dream finally coming true after a long time of waiting for it.

As Emily was looking for her life to have more meaning, she travelled to Uganda and got a job working in an orphanage there as a social worker. That was indeed found by her.

There, she came face to face with a young child whose mother had recently passed away, leaving him without someone to look after him and provide for his needs.

Adam is the name of the young man who has been so successful in winning the affections of this English girl.

Even in her wildest imagination, this young woman from Worcestershire, England, did not anticipate that she would one day become a mother.

The crux of the issue is that she had never before given any thought to the possibility of adopting a child; yet, the child captivated her heart.

Emily stated, “I knew it would be tremendously difficult to say goodbye, but I wasn’t thinking about adopting him, I simply didn’t see it as a possibility.” (I knew it would be incredibly difficult to say goodbye.)

The young woman was able to spend some time with Adam when he was just five days old; however, in 2015, her funds ran out, and she was forced to return to England.

During that time, she had the opportunity to spend some time with Adam. During those two years, she worked as a teacher in her own country, during which time she saved money and made plans to adopt a kid from Uganda.

Emily is successful in obtaining a position as an international teacher in the African nation, which, in the end, makes it possible for her to be back together with Adam.

The young woman makes the decision to move in with the boy on a temporary basis and so they rent a house together.

At this time, she makes the acquaintance of Josh, a security guard who is 33 years old and who will ultimately end up becoming her partner.

This young lady had her heart set on adopting Adam, and in 2018 she was able to realize her dream when she was granted a hearing for child custody.

Yet, the adoption process is not as simple as it may seem at first glance.

“There is always a problem that needs to be resolved. Something take place, including the records going missing or the judge being removed from their position.

Emily stated that the adoption procedure took three years in Uganda, and that during that period, she and her family resided there for a combined total of four and a half years.

Following the massive success of the girl’s video on the internet, she decided to launch a fundraising effort in order to cover the costs associated with the procedure.

The narrative moved a significant number of individuals, and as a direct consequence of that, they made the decision to offer assistance.

Over four and a half years were required to complete the adoption process. Emily applied for Adam’s visa and obtained his passport in November 2020 so that she could go with him to the United Kingdom.

Emily is currently fighting in court from her home country to make it lawful for foreign children to be adopted in Britain. The case was postponed again because of the pandemic; however, she is trying to make it legal.

In spite of the numerous obstacles and organizational problems she had to deal with, the mother discovered that the eyes of her kid gave her purpose.

She is willing to completely change the pattern of her life in order to fulfill her dream of becoming a mother to the baby boy she first saw when he was just a few days old. This is the one thing that matters the most to her.

Both of them are currently located in England. On the other hand, the young woman runs the possibility of being separated from her boyfriend Josh, who is presently residing in Uganda.

Emily is confident that despite this, they will one day be back together as a family at some point in the future.
