Most of us would want to prepare and know what to anticipate if we were about to perform in front of a crowd. But one couple of swing dancers had no idea what tune the DJs had chosen for them during a competition.

When the pair is presented with a fun and recognizable song, they don’t hold back!
It’s a one-of-a-kind swing dancing video that will have you tapping along and feeling like a child again.

Laszlo Tarkanyi is a Budapest, Hungary-based West Coast Swing teacher, while Stefanie Tschom is from Austria. They both competed in the 2019–2020 SwingVester competition, which was held in Vienna.

When it comes to their time to dance in the Strictly Open final, the couple takes the stage in front of their opponents. They had no idea that things were going to turn “wild.”
Because the dancers have no idea what tune they’ll be given, the presenter urges the DJs to choose something “adventurous.” And, on a scale of 1 to 10, he requests a 10! He jokes with the pair, saying, “I’m just going to say, we’ll pray for you.”

The DJs devise the ideal strategy for Laszlo and Stefanie to really shake things up.
The music begins slowly at first, and the pair swirls elegantly on the floor. Nobody in the room seemed to realize what was coming their way.

After a few seconds, the words begin, and everyone knows what music has been chosen. It’s “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book by Disney!
Even the pair can’t help but grin as the room fills with laughter and shouts. They must, however, get down to business.

They instantly break into a pleasant, frenetic West Coast Swing dance that flows with the tune.
Laszlo and Stefanie seem to float on their feet, and it’s clear that they’re both incredibly adept. They have tremendous synergy and execute their maneuvers precisely.
