Darci Lynne Farmer was born in Oklahoma on October 12, 2004. In recent years, she is credited with bringing ventriloquism back to life. After competing on “Little Big Shots” in 2016 and going on to win the 12th season of “America’s Got Talent,” Lynne gained notoriety.
At a church gathering, she first witnessed ventriloquism and made the decision to learn more about it. To assist her in overcoming her shyness, she begged her parents for a puppet.
Her parents gave her a puppet as a birthday present when she turned ten. She took lessons to hone her abilities, which paid off because once the AGT audience fell in love with her performance, Darci became an overnight success.
Several years ago, 12-year-old Darci Lynne had a little assistance from a pal as she entered the stage of “America’s Got Talent.” Darci entertained the judges and audience with “Petunia,” her ventriloquist bunny.
Simon inquires as to their motivations for entering the competition. She informs him that because ventriloquism is uncommon, it was one of her main aspirations and that she wants to keep it alive.
The next event surprises everyone! Darci and Petunia begin a lovely performance of “Summertime.” Her sound is great, despite the fact that her lips seem to have been closed the entire time.
You made my heart melt, says judge Mel B. You were a genius! I’m attempting to express how incredible it was. She pauses for a moment before saying, “You know what… She slams the Golden Buzzer and leaps out of her seat. Darci eventually won “AGT’s” 12th season. After “AGT,” she appeared on TV programs and even started a tour.
