With kids comes maturity, and with grandkids comes the second youth, they say. Just watch how the grandpa entertains his already-grown granddaughter. When she comes, he appears to forget about his age.
A lovely film packed with sensitivity and love was provided by a 30-year-old elementary school teacher from Texas, Hayley Gamez. The clip shows her 89-year-old grandpa, who is nicknamed Gayva in the family, happily rushing after her vehicle and waving his hand. According to the lady, this is a type of goodbye ceremony that has been going on for many decades, according to the Daily Mail. Gaiva is no longer the same as he was 20–30 years ago, but when his loving granddaughter comes to him, he forgets about his venerable age and amuses her as if in infancy. He never skips a “run,” not late in the evening or in severe weather. However, as follows from the video, if Gaiva rushes in the dark, his kid joins him.

The charming family custom made an impact on social media users. On TikTok alone, videos featuring Gayva have earned approximately 7 million views! In the comments, subscribers wished the guy, who nearly universally acquired the title of “the sweetest grandfather in the world,” good health and a long life. Many users mentioned that they greatly mourn their grandparents, with whom they were separated by a pandemic or, worse, death.
“You are so lucky that your grandfather is still around”, “I miss Grandpa so much”, “I watched it and cried. My grandpa has already departed, and I mourn him very much,” the subscribers wrote.

The admiration and kind words directed to Hayley’s family moved her, who is getting ready to become a mother for the second time. Later, she produced another video in which she thanked fans for their support and told about how the tradition appeared. According to the lady, it all began back in the days when her sister was tiny. Grandpa Gayva pleased her by “catching up” with the leaving automobile. When Hayley was born, he began running after her and later after her son. Previously, Grandpa Gaiva could sprint alongside the automobile for an entire block, but now energetic movements are hard for him. And nevertheless, he attempts to waddle at least a few meters.
Looking at these efforts, Hayley had tears in her eyes every time. She just hopes that her grandpa will have the strength to chase after her second child, who will shortly be born. “There is so much love in him! She fills everything around him and gives him strength,” says the expectant mother.
It’s excellent when grandkids react to the care of grandparents in the same manner. For example, this person brought his grandma to the coast and mountains, something she had dreamed of all her life.
