The video of a man saving a kid falling from a skyscraper in China has gone viral.
People are hailing a guy as a hero after posting a video of him saving a toddler’s life online. The video, which was originally posted on Weibo and thereafter shared on other social media sites, shows the guy catching the child as he falls from a building.
The Chinese Ministry shared the footage on Twitter. The government official tweeted, “Heroes among us,” while sharing the video. The video begins with a man racing toward a building with a woman, conversing on the phone. Within minutes, however, he ditches his phone and reaches his arms aloft to grab the female.
The man, Shen Dong, originally heard a huge crash from the building, according to the South China Morning Post (SCMP). He then identified the cause as the two-year-old daughter falling from her apartment’s balcony onto the steel rooftop of the building. The youngster then slipped from there, but the dad caught her before she hit the concrete. The father quickly sent the child to the hospital. She endured injuries, but the child is now stable.
“To be honest, I can’t recall the details.” I can’t recall if my arms ache or not. It was merely instinct to contact her,” Shen told local daily Qianjiang Evening News, according to SCMP. “I was lucky I arrived in time. Otherwise, I’d feel really terrible,” he said.
